My mother had a fall and was unable to call for help or get herself up.  The person delivering her meal that day was concerned when they did not find her door open and alerted a neighbour.  This resulted in the ambulance being called and the fire brigade accessed the house so that she could be rescued and taken to hospital.  If your delivery person had not bothered to do this, there is a good chance she may not have survived the fall; fortunately she is now back home and on the mend.

I’m not sure what the official job title is for the people who deliver meals but in this case this person is a ‘life saver.’  I would like to convey my sincere thanks for what they did that day to help my mother.   Please could you pass on my thanks and appreciation for the marvellous and caring service, gratefully received.

I would like to thank your team for looking after my mum. She always looked forward to your driver delivering her meal at 12 noon. He always took the wrappers off for mum and this was appreciated as it prompted her to eat her meal there and then.

I cannot recommend the service you provide highly enough and at a recent meeting with Social Services I passed on my recommendation. The Social worker said that he has heard a lot of good comments about your company and I thought it would be nice to pass on this positive feedback.

I would not hesitate in recommending your company to any elderly or infirm member of the public. The service you provide is invaluable in many ways.

Please pass on my personal thanks to your driver as he always has a laugh with mum and i knew that he would not hesitate to use the key in the key safe if thought something was wrong.

We would like to thank you for the service you have given to Lillie. We have dealt with a wide variety of services and supports which have enabled Lillie to continue living in her own home. However she is now considered to need twenty four hour care and has therefore been transferred from DRI to a care home. Your service has made looking after Lillie very much easier than it might otherwise have been. We refer here, not to the provision only, but rather to its dependability and the ease of communication to yourself as and when required, and to the helpful nature of your deliverers. Yours is one of the organisations its been a pleasure to deal with giving us no cause for concern and presenting us with no organisational difficulties, we are very grateful.

A note of thanks for your service

I am sure you will be aware that for the past four years Park Care Meals have provided a daily service to my father, Les Allen at ********, Edlington. throughout this period dad has received the support required to be able to conyinue to live independently despite suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. As you will be aware from my recent telephone call dad’s condition is now such that he requires twent-four hour care and he is now in a permanent resident at Stenson Court.

His change in circumstances has brought to an end the service you have provided for him and i wanted to take this opputunity to say thank you for all you have done over the past four years. i cannot over state how important the delivery of dad’s meal was to him, because of his illness it was probably the most important event of his day, so the efficiency of your service was crucial to his well being. You never let him down. he always enjoyed his meal, the person who delivered it was always pleasant and polite, and it was invariably on time, evety day whatever the weather. From our perspective we knew we could always rely on you even, as became more regularly the case, if he did not attend day care we could call you late morning and a meal wuld still be delivered. Nothing seemed too much trouble.

We would very much appreciate it if you would pass on our thanks to all your team. The outstanding service you have provided for dad has not only been an important part of the quality of his life but your reliability has been a source of great comfort for us also.
