My mother had a fall and was unable to call for help or get herself up.  The person delivering her meal that day was concerned when they did not find her door open and alerted a neighbour.  This resulted in the ambulance being called and the fire brigade accessed the house so that she could be rescued and taken to hospital.  If your delivery person had not bothered to do this, there is a good chance she may not have survived the fall; fortunately she is now back home and on the mend.

I’m not sure what the official job title is for the people who deliver meals but in this case this person is a ‘life saver.’  I would like to convey my sincere thanks for what they did that day to help my mother.   Please could you pass on my thanks and appreciation for the marvellous and caring service, gratefully received.
