The 5th – 11th November 2018 was National Meals on Week. We believe that Meals on Wheels is such a vital service to many people across the UK. It is therefore important to celebrate it during Meals on Wheel Week.
Some lucky customers had a special delivery this week.
In Rotherham, Mr and Mrs Edwards of Rawmarsh had their meals delivered by Rotherham United FC superstars – Will Vaulks and Joe Newell.
In Sheffield, Mr Harrison had his meal delivered by Tony Currie, Sheffield United Ambassador and former England Footballer.
The customers got to spend some time with their guests chatting about the importance of having a hot meal delivered and also to talk about football!
